Equipment

  • 1 Stainless Steel Pot size depends on number of eggs

Ingredients

  • Eggs, as many as you please (any size, any color, any brand) I use large organic brown eggs

Instructions

  • Arrange your eggs in the bottom of a pot. Make sure they have enough room to sit without being crowded.
  • Fill your pot with cold water until it reaches about 1 inch above the eggs.
  • Set pot over high heat and bring to a boil.
  • Immediately after a rolling boil begins, cover the pot with a lid and remove from the heat.
  • Set a timer for 10 minutes
  • Make sure to prepare an ice bath prior to your timer going off. (I make this mistake often)
  • Once 10 minutes have passed, transfer eggs with a slotted spoon to ice bath and let rest for 20 minutes.
  • Peel and enjoy.... or pack in Hubby's lunch like I do!
  • If you're planning on storing, place in sealed container and store in the fridge for up to a week!
