How To Make Organic Onion Powder At Home

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large Organic Onions peeled and chopped

Instructions
 

  • Peel and roughly chop your onions.
  • Add chopped onions to the food processor and process for less than 30 seconds.
  • Drain as much liquid from the onions as possible.
  • Spread processed onions evenly on a parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Dry at your ovens lowest temperature setting (ideally 150℉) for 5 hours, or until completely dry and will turn to a crumble in your hand.
  • Remove onions and allow to cool completely.
  • Add your onions to the food processor (cleaned and dried from earlier obviously) and process until the become a powder.
  • Transfer to a container and store in the pantry.

Notes

Add a few grains of uncooked rice to your storage container to avoid clumping.
