Organic Onions
peeled and chopped
Instructions
Peel and roughly chop your onions.
Add chopped onions to the food processor and process for less than 30 seconds.
Drain as much liquid from the onions as possible.
Spread processed onions evenly on a parchment lined baking sheet.
Dry at your ovens lowest temperature setting (ideally 150℉) for 5 hours, or until completely dry and will turn to a crumble in your hand.
Remove onions and allow to cool completely.
Add your onions to the food processor (cleaned and dried from earlier obviously) and process until the become a powder.
Transfer to a container and store in the pantry.
Notes
Add a few grains of uncooked rice to your storage container to avoid clumping.
