Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need (I’ll link what we use on each line):

  • 3 cups Organic All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp +1 tsp Baking Powder (baking powder can’t really be organic, so look for some thing with no added aluminum)
  • 2 tbsp Organic Honey (adjust to taste) (we get ours local – local honey has a slue of additional benefits so take a look in your area)
  • 1/2 tsp Organic Salt
  • 2 1/4 cups Organic Grass-fed Whole Milk (we use Maple Hill Brand and we buy it at Walmart)
  • 6 tbsp Organic Grass-fed Butter (melted) (we use Horizon brand and we buy it at Walmart)
  • 2 Organic Eggs (beaten) (this is another one of those things that we get local – there is nothing better than farm fresh eggs!)

Instructions

  1. Start by combining the organic all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a large glass mixing bowl. Whisk them together until well blended.
  2. Create a well in the dry ingredients and add the organic honey, beaten eggs, melted butter, and organic grass-fed whole milk. Whisk everything together until the batter reaches the consistency of cake batter.
  3. Heat a skillet (buttered or oiled) over medium-high heat. Ensure it’s hot before ladling your batter onto it.
  4. Use a 1/4 cup scoop to spoon the batter onto the hot skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, usually around 2-3 minutes, longer if you prefer crispier pancakes.
  5. Flip the pancakes and cook until they’re beautifully browned. Transfer them to a plate and repeat the process until all the batter is used.
  6. Now comes the fun part – toppings! Drizzle with local organic maple syrup, add sliced bananas, walnuts, fresh berries, or even organic chocolate chips. The possibilities are endless!
